A reminder that we will be bringing our wares to a couple of events in the coming months.
PARK FAIR
18th - 21st August
The Great Tew Park, Oxfordshire, OX7 4AF
Thursday: 18:00-21:30 (welcome evening)
Friday - Sunday: 10:00-17:00
Spread over 4 days, the Great Tew estate will welcome a carefully curated selection of independent artisans, fashion, and lifestyle brands. Organisers are also providing a brilliant array of workshops for children and adults, fairground rides and live music. We hope you will join us in the Cotswold countryside for this one. We will all be there (Phoebe, Isobel & Penny!) with our core collection of organic cotton essentials as well as some sample sale pieces at special prices and also some exclusive naturally dyed pieces (see below for more details). DARN & FRIENDS POP-UP
19th - 16th September
The Battery, The Island, St. Ives, TR26 1SY
We’re delighted to be sending lots of our pieces to our friend Amelia, of DARN Collective, who is hosting a one month pop-up at The Battery in St. Ives. We will be amongst some of our very favourite brands and friends, including OB wear, Sarah Johnson and Jaggery London. So, if you have plans to be in the South West during this time, it will definitely be worth a visit and checking out the wonderful range of workshops and events that will be held during the residency. We always love these opportunities to meet new faces, long-standing customers and other small brands and makers. In fact we have met some of our closest friends and collaborators through events like these- @ottowinshop @modern_sewing_co @ren.london @zmjewellery @bugclothing @mrstudiolondon @tamayandme to name but a few!
Our first event back in 2016 was the @selvedgemagazine Christmas Fair (see picture 3 - we have developed our stall a little since then!). We had a brilliant time and met some lovely people, including @maisieskidmore who kindly included us in that years @anothermagazine top ten Christmas wish list (it is amazing how important these mentions in publications mean to small brands like ours). The event was organised by wonderful Penny. Since then, in a magical full circle kind of way, Penny joined our team at the beginning of this year. It is with great joy that our little, but slowly growing, Pico team of Phoebe (and her young son, Alon), Isobel & Penny will all be at Park Fair next weekend.
Although we cannot attend ourselves we are delighted to also be joining friends at the DARN & FRIENDS month long pop up down in St Ives which also begins this Saturday. Organised by our pal Amelia of @darn_studio with the help of wonder-woman (and a Pico collaborator) Louise @hn__y we will be joining some of our very favourites, including @jaggery_london, @by_sarah_johnson , @ob__wear & @franclicraftwear . It is set to be a pretty special pop-up with a whole host of workshops and events happening throughout and will be totally worth a visit if you are in the South West over the coming weeks. We wish we could!
We're looking forward to this being the restart of many more events to come!
