Zoe from Wunder workshop and Sol Lana sharing some quiet morning moments in her Picos

It is very special to see Zoe in her Picos, sharing with us some quiet moments within her morning ritual.

Zoe is quite the inspiration and has brought to life a number of thoughtful and creative projects.  Together with her partner, Tom, she runs Wunder Workshop and most recently she has launched a new venture, Sol Lana. Both organizations whose philosophies and values feel core to ours, with an emphasis on connection and respect for the planet and all its people.

At the heart  of Wunder Workshop  is Consumption With Purpose®, by harvesting the power of regeneratively grown plants for the ultimate wellness rituals. Tom & Zoe set up Wunder Workshop in 2014 and it was born from a lifetime of discovery of the miracle and magical properties of plants and is founded on  intuitive herbalism and Ayurveda

They have a close connection to everyone and everything that they work with - a full circle approach  to their products - so there is care throughout -  towards the farmers, the environment, soil health and their customers at every stage.

They tell these stories so beautifully on their website and it is so evident that their care and connection is truly authentic and runs deep.

They ethically source their organic turmeric and most of their other ingredients directly from small community farms in Sri Lanka that use a sustainable farming technique called Forest Gardening, supporting Sri Lanka's natural biodiversity, soil health, the farmers and the local community. They also source ingredients that are wild-harvested (Fair Wild certified), growing in their natural habitat, avoiding mono-cultural farms wherever possible.

Zoe has also gone onto found Sol Lana - - born from a passion (of which we share!) for Sheep, natural materials, localism and regenerative business . Zoe and Tom live in Mallorca and would witness sheep being shorn every year but were unable to source Mallorcan wool. This was because this incredible natural and versatile fibre was simply being discarded or burnt.  Zoe wanted to do something about this and teamed up with a charity called Llanatura, a charity and social enterprise who work to transform raw, discarded wool using traditional techniques to create distinctly unique and high quality felt. Sol Lana sells a beautiful range of undyed felt pieces.

I nearly forgot to mention Zoe is also an author of an incredible cook book - Super Root Spices book which is full of @tommyturmeric’s spice-packed nourishing dishes and @zoelvh’s magic potions.

Thank you Zoe for all that you do working with and celebrating nature and for also supporting and wearing Pico.

xx
