Sanne began Atelier Hop as a celebration of making and in honour of her grandmother who used to make beautiful clothes for her when she was growing up. As a child she remembers her grandmother perfectly recreating the clothes that she wanted to buy from the shops. Sanne comes from a family of retailers too- both her grandparents and her parents owned shops and the influence of being surrounded by makers and retailers from a young age is clear when you see Atelier Hop. The store is decorated with beautiful dark wood furniture, soft embroidered linens and the fun pastels of Sanne’s tiered candles.

Snow opened her store a few years ago when she was on the search for kids clothing made from natural fibres, and in simple shapes to dress her little ones in.
